Suzanne Whitby, creator the Walk the Futures walkshops and of the associated senstoryscapes approach, regularly speaks about hopeful, sustainable futures, speculative and traditional storytelling, and public imagination, often in the context of climate change.
In addition to her academic work, Suzanne is a futures facilitator, foresight practitioner, science communicator and storyteller with a deep interest in anything that supports the co-creation of hopeful, sustainable futures. Her talks blend research insights, facilitation experience, and participatory methods, always with an eye toward making complex ideas accessible, embodied, and energising.

Experience and track record
Suzanne speaks professionally. In her non-academic roles as a science communication trainer and foresight practitioner, she has spoken to audiences in person and online as a moderator, keynote speaker, and expert contributor. In a recent engagement, her talk garnered over 1200 registrations for an online webinar on storytelling and climate engagement for an EU project. In addition, Suzanne is a professional oral storyteller, working mainly with adult audiences. She knows how to engage an audience with nothing more than words and her presence!
